Like you, I have been on the hunt for the perfect grooming tool for my Great Dane and let me tell you… it has been anything but easy!
From the SleekEz to the double-blade horse de-shedder, to the fur-buster grooming glove, and finally to a regular old curry comb… I have tried EVERYTHING. 
To be completely honest, I gave up on the whole search. I have spent so much money on stuff that doesn’t work that it just wasn’t worth it anymore.Now don’t get me wrong – all of these tools are highly-rated and wonderful for grooming, however they just don’t work for my Dane. I find that the blades work wonderfully for Dior’s back, but he doesn’t tolerate them well on his bony prominences (rightfully so). The curry comb is a bit too soft and the grooming glove was so useless, I might as well have just used my hands.

Now, I have no idea what on God’s green earth possessed him to use this thing as an f’ing dog brush – but our lives have changed. Literally, they will NEVER be the same again.
I am laughing as I write this because honestly it seems so silly, but in all seriousness this teether might as well come packaged on a silver platter because it has solved 99% of my life’s problems. Okay, not really. But kind of! 
Now usually, the silver platter comes with a pretttttty hefty price tag, but I assure you – this one does not!
I found this magic ring at my local TJMaxx for $4.99. Uh-huh. Less than $10 for something I promise you will not disappoint. Don’t believe me? Check out this video below for some proof that will have you jumping in your car to go get this.

As you can see, I bought the largest teething ring that I could find because – well, I bought the largest dog I could find… BUT they do make them in smaller sizes that will fit in your hand way better! I found this three pack on Amazon for less than $10 as well (and you don’t even have to leave your couch). CHA-CHING!
